AcroWizard integrates
with Microsoft Word: It extends your favorite word processor with
acronym management functionality and provides total acronym control in
your documents.
Document
Analyzer: This key feature analyzes your document and
builds an accurate table of acronyms in seconds. Not only does it find
acronyms, it also finds acronym definitions. You can see if an acronym
is defined in a document and if so, then whether it is defined at first
use or not. This information can be included in the resulting table of
acronyms.
Right-click
access to definitions: We've added AcroWizard to the Microsoft Word
context menu. Now with just a right-click of your mouse, you can access acronyms and definitions, and locate
their occurrences within your documents.
AcroWizard
learns as you work--and remembers:
You can have an unlimited number of definitions for an acronym, and it
will keep track of your Most Recently Used (MRU) definitions to suggest
them first. Over time, the 35,000 definition database will increase and grow.
Acronym Collector:
The software grabs acronyms from a group of documents. It allows you to quickly build your database of acronyms
from your documents. Documents can be in any format currently supported by
Microsoft Word.
AcroWizard has a
pre-built database of more than 35,000 acronym definitions: We have
gathered over 35,000 of the most widely used acronyms abbreviations or
initialisms and
their definitions (evaluation version contains 7,000 IT acronym definitions;
once you purchase AcroWizard, you will have full access to the acronym definition
collection). This list automatically grows as you use
AcroWizard, and becomes customized to reflect your specialization and
interests.
Still can't
find the definition? AcroWizard will go to the web for you:
AcroWizard integrates with the leading acronym search engine, http://www.acronymfinder.com,
to access a list of over 400,000 acronyms and definitions.
